Google, Google Business and the other search engines use special algorithms to identify local user searches for products and services and search results are returned to the user in a special local format.  For example, if you search Google Business for “pizza” or “doctor”,  Google will determine your location using the Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with your Internet services provider and serve you Google Business listings in a local proximity.  You don’t have to search for “pizza Plano” because Google Business assumes that a search for pizza is a search for a local pizza restaurant.
